Brunel University London's theatre research program is enhanced by its specialized performance center, which serves as the focal point of our artistic community. This facility includes a fully equipped main theatre, studio theatre, rehearsal spaces, and recording studios. Being close to central London provides additional opportunities to explore diverse performance practices and venues. Our theatre program fosters a growing research landscape that promotes a cross-disciplinary approach, integrating artistic performance, dance, verbal and physical theatre, musical theatre, playwriting, digital arts, performance design, as well as critical cultural performance and postcolonial studies.
