Our MEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering is a contemporary program designed to provide you with cutting-edge expertise for developing next-generation electronic and electrical systems. The curriculum begins with foundational electronic engineering principles before delving into comprehensive studies of electronics and electrical systems. You'll explore electronic systems, sustainable electrical engineering, then advance to sophisticated device design, electronic systems architecture, and analog integrated circuit development. Final-year options include specialized topics such as embedded systems, intelligent systems, and power electronics. Students benefit from state-of-the-art facilities including computer labs, electronics workstations, and power/control laboratories for practical experimentation. Dedicated computer clusters provide access to current industry-standard engineering software. This IET-accredited program meets all academic requirements for professional engineering qualification. The four-year full-time option (or five years with placement) satisfies the educational criteria for accelerated Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
