The Brunel LLB Law with International Arbitration and Commercial Law program provides specialized expertise in international arbitration and commercial legal studies. In addition to core LLB subjects, you'll explore commercial, international, and comparative law, along with cross-border transactions and intercultural dispute resolution. We present two study pathways: a standard three-year full-time option or a four-year version incorporating a professional placement year between your second and third years, offering practical legal experience. Throughout your studies, you'll have access to a dedicated law careers advisor for guidance on professional development, placements, and further education opportunities.
Career Prospects
This qualification equips you for diverse professional paths including legal practice, corporate sectors, government roles, and international affairs. Our recent alumni have secured positions with prestigious organizations like the Court of Appeal, Blake Morgan, CPS, Freshfields, Mishcon de Reya, the Home Office, and Linklaters.
The program includes an optional placement year where you can gain practical experience with law firms or in legal departments of commercial or governmental organizations. During your placement, you'll receive support from career specialists and your personal tutor.
Brunel's extensive industry connections enhance your career prospects. As one of the select UK universities participating in the Blake Morgan Brand Ambassador Scheme, we offer exceptional work experience opportunities, mentorship programs, and direct access to graduate recruitment teams at leading law firms.
