The Brunel Economics and Management BSc provides aspiring management professionals with comprehensive insights into economic systems and corporate operations. You'll explore resource allocation dynamics influenced by consumer needs, corporate strategies, and governmental regulations, along with incentive structures connecting stakeholders, executives, and workforce. Your economics curriculum will deliver extensive knowledge about production systems, distribution networks, and investment frameworks that shape organizational environments, while management modules concentrate on effectively coordinating resources and personnel to meet specific objectives. The program includes econometrics training, equipping you with valuable competencies in data analysis, plus instruction in industry-standard software tools like SAS, EViews, Bloomberg, Reuters, and STATA. Two study pathways are available: a standard three-year full-time option or a four-year version incorporating a professional placement year between your second and third years, enabling practical application of academic concepts.
