The Brunel Banking and Finance BSc equips students with essential expertise and analytical capabilities for successful careers in banking and financial sectors. The program establishes a strong foundation in microeconomics, macroeconomics, accounting principles, and financial market operations, progressing to specialized areas such as property finance, regulatory frameworks, risk assessment, and global financial systems. Students will explore the intricate connections between investors, financial markets, and intermediary institutions. The course offers flexible study paths: a standard three-year full-time option or a four-year variant incorporating a professional placement year after the second year, allowing practical application of academic concepts.
