Our BEng in Civil Engineering is an innovative program designed to provide you with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills tailored to the demands of the civil engineering and construction sectors. The curriculum covers fundamental areas such as design, structures, materials, fluid mechanics, geotechnics, and mathematics. You'll explore various construction concepts before advancing to specialized topics like structural analysis and computational mechanics. State-of-the-art technical facilities, including fluids and hydraulics labs, as well as structures, materials, and geotechnics laboratories, are accessible for hands-on experiments. Dedicated computer clusters offer the latest engineering software. A residential field trip provides practical training in surveying and geology using professional equipment. Industry experts deliver guest lectures, and site visits to engineering projects enhance learning. This three-year full-time BEng program (or four years with a placement) fulfills the educational requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status. Students meeting progression criteria may transfer to the MEng pathway after their second year, which prepares graduates for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with an additional year of study.

International Baccalaureate Diploma 30 points, including 5 in Higher Level Maths and Higher Level 5 in one of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography, or Design Technology. GCSE English equivalent SL 5 or HL 4 and Mathematics SL 4 or HL 4.
Obtain a minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points in the Access to HE Diploma in Engineering with 45 credits at Level 3. All Maths and Science units must be Distinctions at level 3.
