The Bournemouth University Business School comprises four key departments: Accounting, Finance & Economics; People & Organisations; Marketing, Strategy & Innovation; and Sport & Event Management. Our research approach mirrors Bournemouth University's 2025 vision and strategic objectives, which emphasize tangible societal and economic impact alongside addressing global challenges through knowledge advancement. The Business School further aligns with the university's priority investment areas, including Sustainability, Animation, Simulation and Visualisation, Medical Science, and Assistive Technology. Following our recent AACSB accreditation, we've refined our strategy to reflect the evolving role of business schools as catalysts for societal transformation, fostering stronger connections with both the business world and higher education. Our approach now directly supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with all research initiatives meticulously assessed against these benchmarks. Doctoral candidates at Bournemouth University Business School benefit from a modern, purpose-built Postgraduate Research facility designed to foster collaboration, study, and interdisciplinary exchange among our postgraduate community.
