This rigorous two-year clinical program equips you to become a Physician Associate (PA) within the NHS, designed for graduates holding a health or science-related bachelor's degree. PAs are medical professionals who collaborate with physicians in hospital or general practice settings following a medical framework. Through this program, you'll develop skills to conduct patient interviews, perform examinations, diagnose conditions, carry out medical procedures, and suggest treatment plans. With the Department of Health actively expanding PA roles across the NHS, especially in primary care, graduates enjoy excellent employment prospects. State-of-the-art training facilities feature simulated hospital environments and community home setups for safe procedural practice. Combining academic study with hands-on experience, you'll complete at least 1,400 hours in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, GP practices, and community healthcare services. Continuous assessments reinforce learning and prepare you for the Physician Associate National Certification Examination.
