Build a solid foundation and analytical grasp of human cognition and behavior by studying all psychology disciplines with an emphasis on educational psychology. Cultivate essential transferable competencies such as analytical reasoning, organizational skills, presentation techniques, and professional application. Choose to undertake an optional 4-week summer or 30-week year-long industry placement to gain vital practical experience and establish professional connections. Collaborate with leading researchers through the Research Apprenticeship Scheme—many of our students have co-authored publications with faculty members. Take advantage of our psychology department's partnerships with local education experts (including school psychologists, speech therapists, and staff from both mainstream and special needs schools), who deliver guest lectures. Engage in hands-on exercises, dynamic evaluations, coursework, and cutting-edge research using our advanced facilities.
