The need for skilled professionals in wildlife protection, biodiversity preservation, and ecosystem stewardship continues to rise. This program provides comprehensive training in ecological science and its application to species conservation. You'll learn from leading researchers, experienced professionals, and industry guests who will explore the broader social and legal frameworks surrounding conservation efforts. Develop hands-on skills through field studies in diverse local ecosystems such as woodlands, grasslands, moorlands, and coastal areas. Complete a two-week placement during your first year, followed by either a four-week placement in your second year or a 30-week sandwich year placement. Tailor your studies to align with your interests through our extensive selection of optional modules. Participate in our faculty's conservation research partnerships and join an active community of academics, students, and conservation professionals dedicated to protecting wildlife.
