The need for skilled professionals in wildlife protection, biodiversity preservation, and ecosystem stewardship continues to rise. This program provides a comprehensive foundation in ecological science and its application to species conservation. You'll learn from leading academics, experienced practitioners, and industry guests who will explore the broader social and legal frameworks surrounding ecological preservation. Develop hands-on expertise through fieldwork in diverse local ecosystems such as woodlands, grasslands, moorlands, and coastal areas. Complete a 2-week placement during your first year, followed by either a 4-week placement in your second year or a 30-week sandwich year placement. Tailor your studies to align with your interests through our extensive selection of optional modules. Participate in our faculty's research partnerships with conservation groups and join an active community of educators, students, and professionals dedicated to wildlife preservation.
