The International Relations and Security program examines global dynamics of authority, security frameworks, policy formation, disputes, and collaborative efforts worldwide. Participants gain expertise and advanced competencies that prepare them for professional advancement. This curriculum offers insights into the complex realities confronting societies and nations, including displacement crises, extremist threats, institutionalized aggression, environmental shifts, and societal disparities. International Relations studies investigate the interconnectedness between populations and their political, social, and ecological contexts across regional, domestic, and international spheres. The program analyzes protection mechanisms, influence dynamics, worldwide integration, and patterns of state engagement, whether through partnership or confrontation.
Applicants are normally expected to have a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree, or equivalent, in any subject.
