The MRes is perfect for driven, dedicated students with existing philosophical training who aspire to pursue specialized research in any philosophical domain.
You'll develop a robust philosophical foundation and expertise in sophisticated, specialized philosophical topics, empowering you to thoughtfully engage with contemporary philosophical discussions. The program also prepares you with crucial research methodologies necessary for advancing to doctoral studies. You'll undertake a significant supervised research endeavor, completing it in less time than a full PhD requires.

MRes At least a high upper secondclass honours degree 2.1 in philosophy or equivalent or an MA in philosophy at Merit level or above and a sample of written work prior to interview in addition to a research proposal of up to 1000 words
