This program offers a thorough introduction to the field, skillfully blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications in today's social, political, economic, and technological landscape. You'll have the opportunity to enhance your critical analysis abilities while exploring creative industry growth and evaluation, tackling both commercial challenges and examining interactions with public and nonprofit creative entities. The curriculum examines past and present management approaches and policy systems across the UK, Europe, and globally, while providing detailed insights into operational methods within creative organizations. You can customize your learning experience through elective modules that combine academic rigor with professional relevance in specialized areas including:audience studiescreative sector leadershipcross-cultural policy analysisdigital media studies.
Student should have a second-class honours degree (2:2) or above in an arts subject, or in any subject together with experience of administration/management in an arts/cultural organisation, or three years’ relevant experience, for example in a senior management role in an arts/cultural organisation.
On the basis of prior learning and achievement, exemption may be possible for up to 50% of Year 1 elements of the MA.
