This program allows you to investigate diverse facets of Greek and Roman archaeology, history, and culture, spanning from the archaic age through classical times to late antiquity, encompassing classical literature and Mediterranean archaeology. You'll engage in a vibrant research environment, guided by internationally renowned scholars at the forefront of their disciplines.

This interdisciplinary Master's program begins with a chronological overview of classical civilization, from early Mediterranean societies to the rise of Christian Rome. You'll examine political systems, cultural developments, religious practices, gender studies, historiography, and how classical traditions influence modern society—a particular research focus within our Department of History, Classics and Archaeology.
