Are you an aspiring musician, composer, or producer? Our MA Sound (Production) program helps you hone your skills while building a professional portfolio to succeed in the music and sound industry. Collaborate with peers and expert instructors as you explore interdisciplinary approaches to sound production, including contemporary electronic, experimental, and urban music styles. You'll delve into advanced production, recording, mixing, mastering, and engineering techniques. While centered on music production, the course also addresses essential practices like film scoring, soundscape creation, field recording, and spatial audio. Rather than covering everything, you'll craft a personalized portfolio that aligns with your career goals. Generally we look for a good honours degree or higher. Often this will be in music, music technology, audio production or another closely related field. However, we accept applicants with other degrees where they can demonstrate relevant experience. We make offers based on your previous experience, which may be conditional on completing current courses, or unconditional.
Depending on your course, you’ll need either IELTS 6.5 or 7.0. For visa nationals this must include a minimum of 5.5 or 6.0 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. 
TOEFL iBT: This must include a total of 75, to include a minimum of 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing.
