This LLM program serves as a career-advancing legal credential that prepares you to excel as a next-generation legal professional. The curriculum is structured to help you advance toward legal certification in England and Wales, encompassing the seven core areas of legal knowledge while providing preparatory training for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) Part 1. Based on your chosen project modules, you may also gain preparatory education and hands-on experience applicable to the SQE Part 2 Assessment.
The program consists of eight mandatory modules plus one elective project module, addressing the seven fundamental legal knowledge areas while preparing you for components of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination. This educational framework will strengthen your academic and professional competencies while expanding your legal expertise. You'll have chances to collaborate with external organizations on real-world legal cases or conduct guided research in a legal specialization of your choosing.

Qualification Requirements
You'll have, at minimum, a lower second-class honours UK or ROI degree (or equivalent overseas NARIC qualification), or equivalent professional experience through APL or APEL (including at least two years work experience). For international students: IELTS min 6.5 (min. 5.5 in each category). There may be visa and other regulatory limitations related to the optional Legal Clinic module. TOEFL iBT - This must include a total of 75, to include a minimum 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing.
