This Forensic Psychology program addresses the growing need for specialized knowledge in this dynamic Psychology field. You'll explore criminal behavior from every angle, concentrating on personal motivations and the impacts of unlawful acts.

Gaining diverse abilities like communication, data analysis, collaboration, self-directed learning, and analytical reasoning, a Psychology qualification is strongly sought after by organizations. The program includes practical work placements that enhance your professional skills. Throughout this Forensic Psychology course, you'll examine human behavior and motivations through biological, psychological, and social lenses. You'll master research design, implementation, analysis, and reporting techniques while developing analytical capabilities and specialized psychology software proficiency.

Our alumni have progressed to Master's programs or professional doctorates, with some pursuing research PhDs. Psychology graduates can enter postgraduate training immediately to qualify as forensic psychologists. The optional placement year lets you gain professional experience through one to three placements lasting at least nine months. Completing this component showcases your readiness for graduate-level roles.

Qualification Requirements

A Level - grades BBB-BCC preferred. If studying Psychology, then a Grade B or higher is required. If Psychology is not an option at your school or college, then another A Level subject will be accepted, but a keen interest in psychology will need to be described in your personal statement.
BTEC Extended Diploma grades from Distinction Distinction Merit (DDM) to Distinction Merit Merit (DMM) in a related subject. Applicants will need to show a keen interest in psychology in the personal statement.
T Levels grade Merit preferred in a relevant subject.
International Baccalaureate - a minimum of 32 points are required. Applicants will need to show a keen interest in psychology in the personal statement.

IELTS 6.0 - for visa nationals, with a minimum score of IELTS 5.5 in each element.
TOEFL iBT- A total of 72, to include a minimum 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing.
