Our interdisciplinary Educational Psychology program applies psychological perspectives to examine educational systems and methodologies across local, national, and global contexts, fostering meaningful transformation. At Bath Spa, professionalism forms the foundation of our Educational Psychology studies. Throughout your three-year journey, we'll support you in recognizing and cultivating your professional goals. A hands-on placement during your second year will provide valuable practical experience.

You'll examine diverse learning styles and educational environments. We prepare you with essential expertise for advanced studies or careers in educational psychology and related fields. This program reveals the science behind individual and group learning while equipping you with research capabilities to advance knowledge in the discipline. A second-year work placement helps develop your professional identity, using psychological frameworks to analyze and improve policies and practices worldwide.

The optional placement year allows you to pursue professional opportunities, typically involving one to three positions spanning at least nine months. Successfully completing this component showcases your readiness for graduate-level professional roles.
