Our Psychology and Criminology program enhances your analytical thinking, research capabilities, and insight into the intricacies of criminal conduct. You'll acquire versatile skills applicable to various professions, such as effective communication, organizational planning, project coordination, and ethical awareness.
In Criminology courses, we investigate diverse criminal activities and societal disruptions, including environmental offenses, maritime law violations, and digital platform crimes. You'll also study justice systems and crime reduction approaches. Psychology studies will introduce you to fundamental psychological theories, research methodologies, and data interpretation techniques. Graduates can pursue careers requiring expertise in human behavior and criminal patterns, such as policing, legal systems, or community services. Our British Psychological Society accreditation enables further psychological studies for those aspiring to become professional psychologists.
The optional work placement year allows you to seek, apply for, and obtain professional experience, typically involving one to three positions spanning at least nine months. Completing this module successfully showcases your capacity to obtain and maintain graduate-level professional roles.
