The Secondary PGCE program aims to give you thorough insights into how young people learn, while building your capabilities to become a resourceful and forward-thinking educator. You'll explore adolescent development across secondary education and receive guidance to excel in teaching. This QTS-accredited PGCE is valid throughout Wales and England, with frequent applicability internationally for entering the teaching field.

Career Prospects
The Secondary PGCE with QTS qualification is accepted across Wales and England, with many opportunities to use it globally when pursuing teaching careers. It thoroughly equips you for teaching challenges in Wales and other regions. Those aiming to teach outside Wales and England should verify QTS recognition with the relevant national teaching authority. CaBan's programs ready you for diverse educational roles while cultivating crucial leadership abilities. Research increasingly shows that school leadership affects student achievement nearly as much as classroom teaching. The CaBan collaboration brings worldwide knowledge and cutting-edge leadership studies, influencing both this program's curriculum and regional/national efforts to build capable school leadership.
Additionally, the program provides brief placements in secondary/special schools, outdoor education centers, and other learning environments to broaden your specialized experience based on personal interests.
