This Master of Science program in Sport and Exercise Psychology holds accreditation from the British Psychological Society (BPS). Graduates can attain Stage 1 training toward becoming a qualified Sport and Exercise Psychologist, a crucial step in the journey to chartered status. The curriculum emphasizes scientific exploration of human cognition, behavior, and experiences within athletic and fitness contexts. Designed for flexibility, the program connects theoretical foundations with practical applications, equipping students with both research-based knowledge and hands-on skills for professional development.
Our institution takes pride in being the first to receive BPS accreditation for this postgraduate program. The course fulfills Stage One requirements for achieving Chartered Psychologist status through the BPS's Sport and Exercise Psychology division.
