This MMus Performance program is perfect for skilled instrumentalists or vocalists looking to advance their musical and artistic growth through dedicated study. Throughout this course, you'll perfect your technical and interpretive abilities on your selected instrument or voice. The MMus Performance enables you to gain profound insights into modern and historical aspects of instrumental or vocal teaching, while exploring approaches for specialized practice-led research. You'll also develop valuable transferable skills in critical analysis, conceptual reasoning, problem-solving, evaluation, communication, independent work, and innovation.
You'll have the chance to collaborate with experienced tutors, accompanists, and renowned researchers, many with global recognition.

Career Prospects
The MMus Performance expands your performance experience while strengthening academic skills related to your practice. This program prepares you for advanced performance and/or musicology studies at PhD level, while also developing creativity, discipline, analytical thinking, and communication abilities sought after in various professions. Alumni have established successful careers as performers, concert organizers, arts managers, educators, consultants, and entrepreneurs.
MMus: 1 year full-time, 2-5 years part-time
Diploma: 30 weeks full-time
