This one-year research program involves conducting independent study on a topic chosen by the applicant and approved by the University. Each participant will be assigned a supervisor who will offer guidance throughout the 12-month duration. Upon completion, students must submit a research project spanning approximately 40,000 to 50,000 words.
The program offers four study options: full-time on-campus research, full-time research at an external workplace, or either of these approaches part-time over 24 months rather than the standard 12-month full-time schedule.

Qualification Requirements

The criteria for admission onto the programme would normally be a minimum of an Upper Second Class Honours degree or equivalent, a satisfactory proposal for research and the ability of the School to effectively supervise the proposed dissertation
For those whose first language is not English or Welsh, the minimum English language requirements is:
IELTS: 6.5 (with no individual score lower than 6.0)
TOEFL iBT - 85 overall (L-20, R-20, S-20,W-22)
