About This Course
You'll gain expertise in studying the human brain's structure and functions, exploring how it facilitates perception, cognition, emotions, language, and behavior. The course examines neurological impairments resulting from conditions like traumatic brain injuries, strokes, or Alzheimer's disease, along with rehabilitation approaches. You'll learn cutting-edge methodologies including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and event-related potentials (ERPs) for monitoring brain function and identifying neurological issues.

This program offers comprehensive coverage of contemporary psychology while specializing in neuropsychology. You'll develop profound insights into how the brain and nervous system shape human cognition, feelings, communication, and actions. The curriculum introduces advanced neuroimaging technologies like fMRI and ERPs, demonstrating how technological advancements have enhanced our knowledge of cerebral anatomy and physiology. Studies encompass biological influences throughout human development, neural processing mechanisms, learning systems, and self-perception neuroscience. The course may also investigate neurological disorders and their treatment strategies.
