Our curriculum spans diverse topics from glacial systems and marine ecosystems to soil science and environmental governance. You'll gain proficiency in research methodologies, IT applications, GIS technology, and statistical analysis while building career-ready professional skills. In your final year, you'll undertake independent research with faculty mentorship, demonstrating the expertise you've cultivated. Fieldwork forms a core component, with extensive opportunities for hands-on learning across North Wales, plus residential excursions throughout the UK and Europe. Options include international study or a placement year (work or academic). The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) accredits this program, ensuring robust geographical training that equips graduates to tackle real-world challenges.
