The past few years have presented numerous economic challenges worldwide, from rising living costs and environmental concerns to the COVID-19 outbreak and disruptions in global supply chains. An economics education provides you with analytical frameworks and methodologies to examine these complex problems and develop potential solutions.
Our foundational courses expose you to sophisticated economic principles and their practical uses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and behavioral economics. The curriculum culminates in an Economics Research Project, enabling you to utilize your acquired knowledge to investigate an economic topic of your choice.
We prioritize career readiness for our economics graduates. Through our partnership with the Office for National Statistics (ONS), we identified skill deficiencies among economics graduates in the workforce. Drawing on ONS expertise, we developed the Measuring the Economy module, which explores data collection methodologies, challenges in economic measurement, and strategies to address these obstacles.
