'Strategies for Practice,' the initial unit, prompts re-examination of fundamental art principles - materials, techniques, and contexts - regardless of prior experience. While some methods may be recognizable, you'll analyze their role in your work. Those transitioning from non-art backgrounds will acquire essential skills and adapt to novel approaches, while established practitioners will reassess foundational assumptions in their practice.
