The BA (Hons) Creative Direction program covers the breadth of the creative sector. Students will master transforming concepts into comprehensive initiatives relevant across the industry, with the director's role encompassing oversight. This degree cultivates the conceptual abilities, innovative solutions, and strategic foresight required for the pivotal position of Creative Director - the central force driving creative enterprises. Creative Directors operate throughout the creative field, including advertising, arts, design, fashion, gaming, music, publishing, television, and film. They gain deep insights into their brand's audience and manage all communication touchpoints where the brand interacts with consumers. This involves leading multidisciplinary creative teams in designing, developing, and executing organizational offerings. Through the BA (Hons) Creative Direction program, students collaborate with diverse specialists - illustrators, photographers, videographers, and other media professionals - to devise creative responses to specific challenges. The curriculum fosters visionary thinkers who can redefine creative paradigms, offering opportunities to hone leadership skills and emerge as industry-prepared professionals poised to make meaningful contributions to the dynamic creative sector. Assessment Approach All evaluations mirror professional practice, simulating real-world tasks graduates will routinely perform. The program emphasizes hands-on project assessments complemented by reflective reports and presentations. Students present concepts to peers and clients while completing research assignments culminating in written reports or essays. Qualification Requirements

All applicants must have Level 3 qualifications, which will normally include at least one creative subject. We're looking for between 112 and 120 UCAS Tariff points. The standard offers for degree courses include: GCE A-Levels – BBB at A-Level excluding General Studies, or 120 UCAS Tariff points, Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Pass, BTEC Level 3 Diploma at Distinction* Distinction, T-level grade of Merit or above, BTEC/OCR Extended Diploma at Distinction, Merit, Merit, RSL/UAL Diploma – must be combined with other Level 3 qualifications equivalent to 112-120 UCAS Tariff points, RSL/ UAL Extended Diploma at Merit, a combination of BTEC Subsidiary Diploma and A-Levels – equivalent to 120 UCAS Tariff points, Three BTEC Subsidiary Diploma passes at Grade Merit, Scottish Highers – five passes at Grade C or above. AUB welcomes applications from students who have completed, or who are soon to complete, a T level in a relevant subject to their chosen course of study. Applicants will be required to achieve an overall grade of Merit or above. Applicants with VTCT qualifications who've the ability to achieve the minimum stated entry requirements of between 112-120 UCAS points will be considered. Academic IELTS or UKVI IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each band. We'll accept IELTS Online (Academic) scores, TOEFL iBT with 80 overall with a minimum score of 18 in writing, listening, and reading and 19 in speaking. Please note the home version of this test is not accepted.
