IMechE-accredited graduates satisfy partial or complete academic requirements for Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, positioning them strongly for professional certification after gaining industry experience. This MSc program partially fulfills the academic benchmarks for Chartered Engineer registration. Graduates with both this accredited MSc and a CEng-accredited BEng (Hons) will have completed the educational foundation for CEng status.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants will require an honours degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent subject at 2.2 or above from a recognised university. Those who do not possess an honours degree, but have a degree or degree equivalent qualification and/or work experience will be considered. qualifications from an approved professional body will also be taken into account. Applicants may be invited for interview.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.

TOEFL iBT with 88 overall and a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
