Pursue a clinical career focused on children or advance toward a doctoral degree by enrolling in ARU Cambridge's Masters in Clinical Child Psychology program. This postgraduate degree equips you with essential research skills and deepens your understanding of clinical aspects in child development. Studying in Cambridge, you'll acquire both theoretical expertise and practical skills to design and assess clinical research initiatives.

ARU's specialized curriculum emphasizes diagnosing and treating various conditions, developmental psychopathology (covering origins and effects), and wider considerations in psychological research.

The program includes training in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques, such as infant observation, diagnostic interviews, assessment methods, and advanced neuroimaging technologies (including EEG and MEG), along with neuropsychological evaluations. These components culminate in your dissertation project, where you'll conduct substantial independent research under the supervision of our experienced faculty.

Important note: This program doesn't involve direct clinical practice with children, patients, or mental health service users. While it doesn't provide professional certification, it can strengthen applications for clinical psychology doctoral programs. We strongly recommend gaining relevant paid or volunteer experience during your studies, as our program structure accommodates such opportunities.
