By enrolling in our Zoology BSc (Hons) program, you'll follow in the footsteps of legendary scientists like Charles Darwin, Dian Fossey, Jane Goodall, and David Attenborough as you investigate Earth's remarkable animal diversity.

You'll develop expertise in anatomy, physiology, animal behavior, genetics, ecology, evolutionary biology, and wildlife conservation practices.

Throughout your studies, you'll gain practical zoological experience through extensive lab work in Cambridge and field expeditions across the UK and internationally. Acquire essential scientific knowledge and hands-on training for careers in conservation, environmental consulting, or zoo management. Compulsory residential field trips are included in your tuition fees, while optional excursions (either as extracurricular activities or part of elective modules) require additional payment. Qualification Requirements

112 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent), including a pass in Biology.
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
BTEC Extended Diploma in Animal Management at grade Distinction, Merit, Merit (112 UCAS Tariff Points) is accepted. Applicants must have also successfully completed specific modules (listed at the foot of this page).
BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science at grade Distinction, Merit, Merit is accepted.
UCAS Tariff Points from Access to HE Diplomas in one of the following subjects are accepted: Animal Management, Biological Science, Biological and Environmental Science, Combined Science, Environmental Science, Applied Science, Science for Health Practitioners, Land-Based Studies. Harlow College Access to HE Diploma: Life Science is also accepted.
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 24 points is accepted, this must include Biology at Higher level.
UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Advanced Highers are accepted, this must include a Pass in a related subject.
UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Highers are accepted, this must include a Pass in a related subject.
UCAS Tariff points from the Irish Leaving Certificate are accepted, this must include a Pass at Higher level in a related subject.
UCAS Tariff points acquired from the International Baccalaureate Certificate are accepted, this must include Biology at Higher level.
The European Baccalaureate at a minimum overall grade of 60% is accepted, this must include Biology at Higher level.
HNC qualifications in a related subject are accepted.
HND qualifications in a related subject are accepted.

IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each element.
TOEFL iBT with 80 overall and a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
