Globally, individuals, organizations, and governments are growing more attentive to planetary well-being and its inhabitants. Across all ecosystems, numerous species face threats due to various factors, including human activity. Our curriculum fosters a thorough grasp of worldwide environmental issues and potential solutions. You'll examine biodiversity both locally and internationally while studying conservation ecology, which focuses on preserving and restoring species populations and their habitats.

Cambridge is emerging as a global hub for wildlife conservation, hosting institutions like Fauna and Flora International, Birdlife International, and the World Conservation Monitoring Centre. During your BSc (Hons) Ecology and Conservation studies, you'll access lectures across the city and explore specialized museums and libraries.

Past students have completed capstone projects, placements, and summer internships with organizations such as Natural England, Shepreth Wildlife Park, Woburn Safari Park, various wildlife trusts, and the Cambridge Museum of Zoology.
