Acquire the expertise and abilities to work alongside local communities and create effective conservation initiatives globally through our Conservation and Community Engagement program at ARU Writtle. The conservation field universally recognizes that involving communities is crucial for project success. As an ARU Writtle student, you'll explore biodiversity, conservation science, and both regional and global conservation challenges. You'll gain hands-on experience in assessing and managing habitats and wildlife, while mastering project planning and community involvement techniques. Additionally, you'll cultivate capabilities in education, science outreach, and facilitating behavioral change. Learn at our countryside campus and participate in conservation and community initiatives. Opportunities include joining the sustainability team, supporting our hedgehog-friendly campus, or contributing to the nearby Forest School program.
