Our Accounting and Finance program equips you for diverse career paths in finance, banking, insurance, and nonprofit sectors. Starting with real-world challenges, our BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree provides comprehensive business skills. You'll gain hands-on experience through our Chelmsford-based Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, internships, or work placements, applying classroom knowledge in practical settings. The curriculum covers dynamic business topics ranging from commercial law to marketing principles. Graduates pursue careers as professional accountants or explore various business roles—your career trajectory is yours to shape.

The Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab in Chelmsford offers professional growth opportunities through simulated trading and real-time global market data. Cambridge-based students can utilize the lab during free periods and access financial data anytime via Canvas, our digital learning platform.

We foster profound mastery of career-launching knowledge and tools. Beyond facility access, we provide guidance for practical experimentation. Early exposure matters—that's why students gain Bloomberg access starting their first year.

Recognizing career aspirations, we motivate students to pursue professional development through international study semesters, industry placements, or short-term programs across Europe, North America, or Asia.
