The curriculum examines both grand historical narratives and everyday experiences, covering revolutionary movements, political systems, domestic life, and mass culture. Beyond studying notorious dictators, you'll analyze cultural phenomena like spy fiction and its social significance.
You'll develop multifaceted historical perspectives through chronological studies and thematic investigations. Coursework spans diverse topics including criminal justice evolution, welfare systems, mass communication, and structural changes in society regarding class, gender, and ethnicity.
