Enhance your knowledge of graphic design and visual communication, tackle complex design projects, and get ready for a professional design career with our BA (Hons) Graphic Design program. Featuring a dynamic studio environment, this degree pushes you to explore creative boundaries and rethink conventional approaches through inventive design solutions and professional insights. You'll work with both print and digital mediums, covering areas like interactive design, motion graphics, mobile media, app development (UX/UI), and multimedia projects.
Throughout the BA (Hons) Graphic Design program, you'll refine expertise in information design, branding, packaging, advertising across platforms, and web design, along with experience design systems. In our specialized Mac suites and design studios, you'll collaborate with peers and receive mentorship from industry-experienced faculty who have worked with clients such as Tesco, Lotus Cars, Manchester United, Saatchi & Saatchi, The NUS, and the UK Film Council.
The course also offers a placement year option. You'll engage with leading design studios like Cambridge University Press, CPL, The District, and Onespacemedia, working on real-world briefs, attending expert lectures, and receiving personalized critiques—culminating in a final review that often leads to internships, job opportunities, and lasting industry connections.

Qualification Requirements
96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent level 3 qualifications), including Art, Design or Media subjects.
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
You may also be accepted to this course with an IELTS 5.5 (Academic level- with no individual score being lower than 5.5) or equivalent English Language qualification as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University, but will then be required to undertake additional compulsory free English language modules in your first year.
You will be asked to provide a digital portfolio for review and will be given the option to book a meeting to discuss this with us.

UCAS Tariff points from Access to HE Diplomas are accepted.
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 24 points is accepted, this must include a related subject.
