In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, computer science has become ubiquitous, influencing everything from the smartphones we use to the aircraft soaring above us.
Our integrated BSc Computer Science with Foundation Year program offers cutting-edge education in our technologically advanced 'smart' campus facilities. You'll blend analytical thinking with practical skills to create software solutions for real-world challenges. Instruction is collaboratively delivered by faculty from both our Dubai and Edgbaston campuses. While studying in Dubai, you'll have chances to collaborate with peers at our UK campus.
To maximize your educational experience, we employ a unique dual-campus teaching approach using contemporary digital tools. Each module features teaching teams spanning both locations, with at least one Dubai-based instructor. You'll access identical high-caliber course materials (including lecture slides and notes) and assessments (such as assignments and exams) as UK students. The program facilitates valuable interactions with staff and students across both campuses to enrich your learning. Additionally, you can undertake projects supervised by faculty from either location, dramatically expanding your range of potential research topics.

Qualification Requirements
If you do not meet the entry requirements for maths, you may be eligible to take our maths entry test.
TOEFL - 72 overall with: 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing
IELTS - 5.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each band
A-Levels: We normally require BBC but BCC will be considered depending on A-level subjects and destination degree. For Engineering and Physical Sciences Pathway this should include Mathematics.
Or
IB: We require a total of 28 points, or 554 at HL with 24 overall with no subject requirements - except for the Engineering and Physical Science Pathway, where a 5 in Mathematics at SL or HL would be required.
