This hands-on course offers students comprehensive knowledge of network administration, delivering a structured grasp of network management principles, protocols, and tools. The curriculum examines virtualization and cloud technologies, investigating contemporary data centers, distributed storage solutions, MapReduce frameworks, NoSQL databases, platform services, web APIs, and caching mechanisms. Participants will analyze cybersecurity threats, learn protocols for secure data transmission and storage, and explore strategies to both prevent security incidents and mitigate their impact when they occur.

Academic requirements-
Minimum second class honours degree (UK) or an equivalent overseas qualification in computer science or networks, or in a field that provided significant exposure to IT, for example, management, business, mathematics, science or engineering. We also accept applicants with degrees in other fields who can demonstrate relevant industrial experience combined with extensive IT background.
IELTS Academic- 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band)
TOEFL Internet-based- 87 (21 in listening & writing, 22 in speaking and 23 in reading)
