Our BAMA (Hons) Real Estate Management and Finance degree goes far beyond training you to become an estate agent. While estate agents are the most visible professionals in this field, they actually represent just one facet of the diverse real estate industry.
Property surrounds us in every aspect of life – from our homes and schools to shopping centers, vacation destinations, and even protected natural areas we aim to conserve. Real estate encompasses both land and all structures or developments upon it – essentially forming our built environment.
Consider the various users, owners, and investors in property. Each stakeholder relies on the expertise of real estate specialists. Interestingly, governments rank among the biggest property owners and users worldwide.
According to Forbes Magazine's 2019 Global Ranking, Canada's Brookfield Asset Management led as the top public real estate firm with $256 billion in assets, followed by American Tower's cellular infrastructure holdings. Timber giant Weyerhaeuser Corp ranked sixth. These organizations all require competent real estate professionals to guide crucial decisions – from acquisition and divestment strategies to income optimization, cost management, lease negotiations, and valuation assessments. Financial institutions, lenders, and investment firms also play significant roles as real estate investors, demanding specialized real estate expertise.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 24 points (3 HL and 3 SL).

FBISE grade 12 or equivalent 70%
Russian/Kazakhstan (Attestat) - Grades of 5 in every subject + IELTS 6.0
African WAEC/NECO/WASSCE - B2
French Baccalaureate - 13/20 + IELTS 6.0
Lebanese Baccalaureate - 80% or 13/20 + IELTS 6.0
As our programmes are taught and assessed in English, applicants must be able to prove their level of English language ability as part of the application process. This should be shown through one of the following means you have passed one of the following English Language Tests at the levels indicated (we will need to verify the results of the test and as such you will need to upload your original certificate as part of the application process). IELTS Academic 6.0 (with no band below 5.5), TOEFL ibt 78 including reading 18, listening 17, speaking 19 and writing 21.
