The Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical Power Engineering (EPE) is a three-year direct honours degree jointly provided by SIT and Newcastle University (NU).
As Singapore's first specialized undergraduate program in electrical power engineering, the coursework is specifically tailored to address industry needs. It will significantly contribute to developing more skilled professionals for the power sector while supporting Singapore's Smart Nation initiative. This collaborative program combines the strengths and resources of both SIT and NU.
SIT-NU EPE graduates find opportunities across multiple industries, including power generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy technologies, smart grid systems, building electrical systems, electric transportation, industrial automation, and related applications. The intensive, industry-aligned curriculum ensures graduates gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This prepares them with essential technical abilities, methodologies, and interpersonal competencies for continuous professional growth throughout their careers. The strong foundational knowledge also supports ongoing learning as they begin their journey in engineering.

Diploma holders from any of the five local polytechnics, A level / IB Diploma graduates, and holders of equivalent Year 12 qualifications are welcome to apply.
Subject to approval, diploma applicants may be granted module exemptions, based on the modules taken during their diploma.
