Aquaculture focuses on cultivating fish, shellfish, and aquatic plants through breeding, raising, and harvesting. This field plays a vital role in building a sustainable and food-secure future. It provides a reliable source of food and related products for people while also supporting the conservation of wild species—key factors in addressing global challenges. In this program, students will study both the theory and hands-on techniques for cultivating aquatic life across various water environments. You'll learn about species diversity, farming methods, aquaculture system design, and nutritional fundamentals.

Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture Science and Technology can pursue careers such as: Managing hatcheries, overseeing stock nutrition programs, freshwater and marine farming operations, or working in aquaculture research and development.
