Many pursue this qualification to establish a foundation for advanced research, potentially leading to a Master of Fine Arts (or similar degree) or, when requirements are satisfied, direct entry into a Doctoral programme. The programme consists of two concurrent study areas across two semesters: Studio Research and Critical Contexts. These courses blend theoretical knowledge with practical studio work, focusing on students' specialized research projects.
