The MSwDev is a rigorous 12-month course commencing in July (Trimester 2). Offered by the School of Engineering and Computer Science under the Industry Alliance Programme, it equips students with fundamental programming knowledge and practical skills for industry projects.
Throughout this program, you'll master Java programming - an object-oriented language ideal for enterprise-scale applications. The curriculum covers essential topics including data structures, version control, networking, database systems, security protocols, web architectures, agile methodologies, design patterns, and beyond. You'll develop foundational competencies and the assurance to immediately contribute as a software developer.
