The Master of Professional Business Analysis (MBusAn) provides the pathway. Tailored for individuals from diverse backgrounds, this program delivers a robust, industry-aligned qualification. You'll develop expertise in business and systems analysis, databases and analytics, management, and Information Systems strategy, while enhancing your current abilities. With practical experiences and real-world projects, the MBusAn readies you for a successful career as a business analyst.
The MBusAn is designed for real-time, interactive campus-based learning, promoting active synchronous participation. Seminars are conducted on-site and simultaneously broadcast via Zoom.
Instruction occurs through weekly tutorials, pre-recorded videos, lectures, and hands-on applications. These include workshops, individual exercises, readings, or collaborative projects that deepen your comprehension and skills. Wellington-based students will additionally benefit from in-person activities.
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least a B- average
To be accepted by one of the Programme Directors as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study.
Proof of English proficiency
To be accepted into this programme you will need one of the following:
IELTS (Academic): minimum overall score of 6.5 with no sub-score below 6.0
TOEFL: minimum score of 90 for the internet-based test with a minimum of 20 in writing
Pearson Test of English: minimum score of 58 (with a ‘Communicative’ score of not less than 50)
EAP: minimum final scores of 4,4,5,5
Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 or higher, with each skill score no less than 169
New Zealand Certificates in English Language (NZCEL): Level 5 (Academic)
NZAPA: English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment Level 3 (with no skill lower than Level 2)
