The Bachelor of Design Innovation (BDI) is a three-year undergraduate program that equips students for careers in various growing design fields.
At Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, Design focuses on innovation. You'll gain industry-relevant skills while exploring new frontiers in design practice. Through studio sessions and seminars, instructors guide students in adopting experimental design methods that foster creative, insightful solutions.
Explore human interactions with diverse physical and digital systems to enhance quality of life. The curriculum covers user experiences with products, from tangible objects to digital interfaces, teaching students to develop these interactions in imaginative, engaging ways.

Achieve the International Baccalaureate Diploma, or three GCE Advanced Level passes at C grade, or equivalent.
Successful completion of your general secondary education and successful completion of one year of undergraduate degree study at a recognised tertiary institution (min. GPA may be required)
Successful completion of the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation Studies Programme OR other recognised foundation programme
Achievement of the International Baccalaureate Diploma (min. 24 points) OR equivalent internationally recognised high school qualification
IELTS (Academic): minimum overall score of 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5
TOEFL: minimum overall score of 80 (internet-based test)
EAP: minimum final scores of 4,4,4,3
