Expand upon your bachelor's degree with a focused exploration of economic, urban, social, cultural, or demographic geography. You'll analyze the connections between communities and their economic, social, and natural surroundings while developing stronger communication and research capabilities. Learn at Victoria's renowned School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences, which shares the top ranking in New Zealand for Human Geography research quality according to the PBRF assessment. The program requires completing 120 points within one year of full-time study, or up to four years for part-time students. At the Honours level, you'll take greater responsibility for your learning journey. This includes undertaking a 30-point research project where you'll design, execute, and document your findings under expert guidance. As an Honours candidate, you'll benefit from more intimate class sizes and enhanced opportunities to connect with faculty members.
