The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) program equips students to address global challenges by integrating philosophical analysis, political science perspectives, and economic methodologies. Our curriculum offers rigorous training in logical reasoning, ethical frameworks, group dynamics, behavioral patterns, governance theories, economic principles, and intellectual history.
First established at Oxford University and now offered worldwide (with Otago being New Zealand's sole provider), our PPE program grounds students in foundational texts while exploring contemporary social theories and real-world policy issues. With modern policy dilemmas growing increasingly complex, our interdisciplinary approach uniquely prepares graduates to tackle these evolving challenges.
