Studying Japanese opens doors to one of the globe's most refined, vibrant, and captivating cultures – while also providing access to the substantial and prosperous market of a key New Zealand trade ally. Japanese society masterfully combines Eastern and Western influences, merging contemporary innovation with timeless customs, technological advancement with artistic elegance. This is the culture that brought us internationally acclaimed manga and anime, the profound teachings of Zen, the exquisite flavors of sushi and tempura, and the entertaining world of karaoke – along with both the briefest poetry forms and most extensive literary works. There's an aspect of Japanese culture to captivate every interest.
