Studying Linguistics helps answer various questions - What's the total number of languages globally? What causes languages to evolve, become rare, or disappear? How can sentences carry multiple interpretations? What processes introduce new vocabulary into languages? Why do individuals speak differently, with distinct accents and linguistic variations? How do children learn language, and what triggers their speech development? What truly constitutes bilingualism or biculturalism?
